Lose something?

Ethan lost his first tooth a few weeks ago. I didn't even know it was loose! I come to pick him up from daycare and he tells me his tooth fell out. I was ready to attack the kid who knocked my son's tooth out! It took a minute to get the full story on how he yanked it out on the van ride between school & daycare. Sadly, the first baby tooth was lost in the abyss of the 15 passenger van, but he still got his dollar from the tooth fairy!

Browned & Drowned

Abbie & Ethan really took to the water like little fishes this year, both of them are(as seen here) diving & doing flips & hand stands & frankly, scaring their mom to death! What a great summer though, we spent lots of time outside getting browned & drowned.

1st day of School

The apron strings just got a little shorter. Ethan started kindergarten this week & is happy as a clam to be at school. Abbie has always loved school & is well adjusted to life as a 2nd grader! Such an emotional dilemma: be happy that your kid doesn't cry when you send them off to school/daycare, or be sad that he/she doesn't even wave goodbye?!

Christmas Carol Train

Disney's "A Christmas Carol" train was in town on Tuesday at the Union Station in Ogden. Because it was a free event, there was about a 2 hour wait to get inside. We saw a cool 3-D preview at the end as well, can't wait to see the movie!

Okay, so Shae sent me this"photo tag" thing, so I'm passing it along, because it's a pretty cool idea, I think. So here is the photo from my 6th file/6th photo in "My Pictures" file, and I will attempt to send it on to 6 people: Amanda H., Holly, Elisa, Shanda, Audry & Amanda J.

This is Abbie & Ethan at Disneyland, September 2007. This was our first day there, & the first thing we saw in the park that day: Lightning McQueen & Mater, characters from Ethan's favorite movie at the time (which I think you can tell by the excitement on his face). It was also Abbie's 6th birthday!

I think we are all ready for another Disneyland trip!

Another year, come & gone. I FEEL another year older! Where did all of these damn wrinkles come from all of a sudden?!?

My resolution was to get the kids to school early and get myself to work early. So...today is the first day back for all of us and are we on time? Nope. Not even close...
So much for that resolution. My pathway of good intentions is nearing completion!

Anyway, happy new year to all, here's to another year of mediocrity! (ha-ha-ha)

Oh, and one more thing, anyone want to join me in the count-down to SUMMER?!
